It had to be one of the fairy tales collection. It was actually my sister’s collection. We both love books. Our aunt usually bring us to the library and it was fun time to me.
Among the fairy tales collection, my favourite was The Princess And The Frog. Until now, I’m still a big fan of fairy tales. 😉
Just a quick update here.
I have come to a second drug for this moment.
Yeah it’s Bridget Jones’s Diary. How lame I have just started to read this book when everyone had talked about it.
However, I’m proud that I have this book only for RM6.90 from the book fair I’d been mentioning before. More to be exposed!
Day 14: Book whose main character you want to marry
Title: Cinta Sang Ratu
Author: Ramlee Awang Murshid
Who could have turn down Saufudin a.k.a Laksamana Sunan. He is every woman dream man (if you happenned to read the dwi-trilogy). From all the series, I like Cinta Sang Ratu the most. In this book he married the most cruel woman which is Sang Ratu.
Day 13: Book whose main character is most like you
Title : I’ve Got Your Number (Poppy Wyatt)
Author : Sophie Kinsella
At first I want to add Emma from Emma. But after reading I’ve got your number, I found that the main character – Poppy Wyatt is quite similar to me.
Not all but like the question… most like me. I mean, if I was her… I’d do the same. Solution always came at the very peak time! 😉
p/s: Just finished my July Drug : I’ve Got Your Number. Love it! Especially Sam Roxton…. ahahah
Day 12: Book that is most like your life
Title: (Currently) Mini Shopaholic
Author: Sophie Kinsella
Haha! I must be kidding. Or you might think I must be dreaming!
This question is ridiculous. Wait until I come with my own book, I’ll go back to this question. hehe.
Anyway, the reason I chose this series is because the sequels were quite similar to me. From the beginning of the series, Becky was still single, and until now she have a baby. Just like me! Simple as that. Muahahahhaa….
Day 11: Book from your favourite author
Title: Shopaholic Ties The Knot
Author: Sophie Kinsella
This is the first Sophie Kinsella’s book I read and after that I’d never miss any of her novel. I love the way she writes, the character she’d created and most of all the funniest plot in her book always a remedy for my hectic day… 😉
p/s: Currently reading I’ve got your number.
Day 10: Book that changed your life
Title: Sugar and Spice
Author: Jules Stansbridge
The first question pop up in my mind. “Is there any?” Challenge is challenge. I had to choose one.
Therefore I chose Sugar and Spice. Not because it changed my life. It slightly had affected my life. After reading this book I was tempting to make a Blueberry Cheese Tart. And so I did!
Apart from that, the book has motivated me to start my own business… If one day I am submitting the resignation letter, I shall say this book had changed my life… One day.. that’s my planning.
Thought of creating a 30 Day Iftar Challenge but I guess I’d failed from the first Ramadhan. huhu.
Since I could only start fasting on the 4th Ramadhan, so here I’m sharing what was for my iftar that day.
Food is my temptation
Iftar on 4th Ramadhan
Potato Twist with Cheezy Flavour
RM2 each @ Baazar Ramadhan, Stutong.
Iftar on 5th Ramadhan
Lipatan Ayam (Chicken Foldover McD)
Supposed to be buy 1 and get 1 free with a coupon. Unfortunately, my brother gave me a brilliant idea to buy at the McD airport outlet… which is none of the promotion is valid. Hmph…
So there goes the normal price RM10.10
Day 9: Book that makes you sick
Author: Constance Briscoe
The way her mother treats her, abused her make me sick. How could a mother has no feeling like that. 😦
Well there isn’t any book that scares me. Maybe because I am not a fan of horror book.
As for this challenge I chose It as one of the book that scares me. I never really read the book. Mostly haunted after watching the movie, when I was a kid. So I kind of cheating for this question. 😛
Day 8: Book that scares you
Author: Stephen King
Day 7: Book that you can quote/recite
Title: Ayat-Ayat Cinta
Author: Habiburrahman El-Shirazy
A novel from Indonesia. This is not a common love story. Inside this book, there are conflicts between love, trust and religion.
My favourite quote from this book was a quote from Fahri to his beloved wife Aisha.
“Aku cemas bila kehilangan kau, aku cemas pada kerisauanku”
There is a film version of this book. I love both! Hehe…
