Eid Mubarak 2014

Hello my dear friends and new readers…
I hope it’s still not too late to wish all muslim brothers and sisters a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri (Eid Mubarak)! 😄

This year of celebration we only celebrate it as simple as it could be. I managed to decorate the snack jars with black and silver theme. Just reused some used ribbons and matched it with some appliques.

Sarawak is famous with ‘Kek Lapis Sarawak’. Therefore, this festive season is where you can find every house must have displayed their layered cakes. As for our house, my sister in law was the one who baked the layered cakes. I only baked the Red Velvet cake. 😜

On the first day of Raya, we were gathered together in our parent house. Yeah, I can guarantee you the joy and happiness when all the family members were joined together. Let me serve you with some photos taken during Hari Raya.

On the third day of Hari Raya, we went visiting to our relatives house. One of Amani’s favourite place is my sister’s house. She got to meet her Kak Yaya!

And lastly, on the fourth day….

With the ‘smoky’ weather, it really turned off the mood for visiting. Amani had coughing and running nose. Luckily these two days we had rain in Kuching. But the temperature is still hot in daytime. I hope you guys stay healthy and enjoy the Raya mood. Till then, ciao. 👋😊
