It’s been awhile I haven’t updated about my book reviews. It’s not that I have been stop reading books. That would never happen. Haha. Book is my drug, remember?

Today I am glad to share with you my favourite series ‘Hush Hush Saga’. Downloaded the ebooks since what… two years back? But never got times to read it. Then I saw BBW made an offer for the series in Seremban. I asked my friend, Fara to buy them for me. Unfortunately, they only have three books. The Saga consists of four books altogether. Hah.. lucky was always with me. I found the second book – Crescendo at Popular book fair. Yeay! 👯

You must be wondering what are those book about? Okay, let me copy the synopsis from Goodreads. This is only synopsis from Hush Hush (Book 1).

Romance was not part of Nora Grey’s plan. She’s never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora’s not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can’t decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen – and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life.

Yay or nay? I’ll go for Yay!!! 😆😆

As usual, I would imagined who are perfect for the role in the book. I hope I’m not the only one who’d doing this. Fangirl. 😄 Nora Grey, is the main character in this book. All the while reading the books, I only imagined this girl. Miranda Cossgrove. She is really Nora Grey!

Nora Grey’s appearance :
Nora describes herself as a “smokey-eyed brunette with volumes of curly hair that holds its own against even the best flatiron”. She is also described frequently as a redhead, giving the idea that her hair must be reddish-brown. She is 6 inches shorter than Patch, who is 6’2″, making her about 5’8″.She is also described as having long, “bar stool” legs. She is described to have “Cold, pale gray eyes.” and a “Killer curvy mouth.” According to a special chapter in Patch’s point of view found in special editions of Silence Nora has “an aristocratic nose”, and “a few freckles she probably hated”.

See… so Miranda! 😊

Now, here’s Patch Cipriano. The fallen angel. Full of darkness behind his past. Not until he met Nora. I choose Tyler Blackburn to play this role. Perhaps his role in Ravenswood (supernatural drama) drag me to picture him as Patch. Lol 😜

Patch’s appearance:
Patch is described as a “dark-Levi’s, dark-Henley, dark boots kind of guy who smells of spice, fresh cut grass and leather”. He is described to have black hair, deep black eyes that “take in everything and give back nothing”, a rugged skin tone (like a Spaniard) and is six-foot-two. According to Nora, he has sharp, almost Italian features. It is also stated by many people that he looks and can be very intimidating and scary.

Hah! Very Tyler! 😆😆

How do the Fallen Angel and a sixteen years old girl got connected?

Nora is a descendent of the Nephilim Chauncey Langeais, who was Patch’s nephilim vessel. In Hush Hush, in order to become human Patch would have had to kill his Nephilim vessel by killing a female descendent of his-which was Nora. He planned on allowing her to die until they fell in love with each other. And at the end of Hush Hush, when Nora sacrificed herself to kill Chauncey and save Patch, he rejected his only offer to become human. From then on throughout the series he does his best to keep her safe.

Did I give you some pictures of this story? Are you tempting enough to read the Hush Hush Saga? If you are into young adult and supernatural, then these books are your must read. I like them!
