Cutest books from Jenny Han

Assalamualaikum, how are you my friends and readers?

Today, I want to share with you my favourite duology books.

The first book is To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. It was written by Jenny Han. Currently, my favourite author.

Synopsis:

Lara Jean keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. One for every boy she’s ever loved. When she writes, she can pour out her heart and soul and say all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

This is where I found a name for my succulent. Lara Jean Covey. Half Korean half American. I love this girl. She is slightly reminds me of myself when I was a teen. Perhaps Jenny Han grew up like me. Hehe. Writing letters and keeping them, without sending them… I thought nobody was doing it. Having a crush and never had guts to tell the boy, yeah… that was me in high school too. 😜

Back to the book. Okay, so someone had found out the hatbox and send them to the boys she’d addressed to. One of them happened to be her sister’s ex-boyfriend, another one is gay, and the important one is Peter Kavinsky, her first kiss. She had a thing with Josh (her sister’s ex-boyfriend), in the meantime having a fake relationship with Peter just to get over her feeling towards Josh.

Mind you, this is more to teen’s book. Sometimes I like to escape by reading young materials.

The sequel to the first book is P.S. I Still Love You. Honestly, I was attracted by their covers at first. And these duology is much better than That Summer I Turned Pretty Series.

Synopsis:

Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.

She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.

When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?

In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times bestseller To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that’s part of what makes it so amazing.

These two books are the cutest! I can imagined Taylor Swift songs been playing while I’m reading it. Haha! Such a dreamer.

Heard that there is another third book. I don’t know, whether to get excited or not. Part of me wants to know about Lara Jean and Peter, perhaps in their college life. Part of me just want it end at book two. No more ruining their love. Too sweet. hehe. 😘

Next read: Hollow City by Ransom Riggs. 😎

  1. Hi. my daughter just about to start to Amanda Hocking Watersong series. We just have the 1st book – Wake. Can I ask if Watersong series is suitable for her age She will be 12 end of this year. Thank you.

    • Hi Doreen. Thank you for dropping by. In my opinion, Watersong series are not suitable for that age. I would prefer The Trylle Series for teenagers below 15. I hope my opinion might help you. ☺️

  2. Hi Azura. Thank you for your reply. I quite feel the same as well as that is why I wasn’t very comfortable for her to read it. I think I will embargo it first till she’s older. She is reading Divergent Series now and she has read the Trylle Series actually! 🙂 Thanks again for your opinion. Appreciate it.
