Doodles doodles Amani

Assalamualaikum. 😚

How are you my dear friends and readers?

I have not updated about Amani for awhile. Alhamdulillah, she is healthy…. active and more ‘tua ija’ . πŸ˜‚

I noticed that she loves to draw. Sometimes I laughed on her doodles. Sometimes I was touched by her imagination.  Like the picture above. She tried to draw a family portrait of us. Kinda cute. However I was unsatisfied with my version in the picture. I looked like a bird. Lol! πŸ˜‚
Her passion on drawing is very high. One day I caught her doodling at the stationeries section. Free pens, free papers and free ideas….. lol! πŸ˜†

2016, Me Birthday

Assalamualaikum lovelies.

15th February, 2016… it was my xxth birthday. Hehe. Guess my number for this year? Perhaps you will win some gift from me. Thanks to all the wishes and pray on my birthday.
From the picture above, you could see little me was having the third birthday together with my mother, my sister and my eldest brother. I was the youngest at that time. My mother never missed to celebrate our birthdays. She would baked a cake and fried chicken was a must have dish.
I was told that on the day I was born, my mother had to drive herself to the hospital because my father was outstation in Japan. I could not imagine how strong and brave my mother was that time. Gave birth without a husband by her side, it must be very hard for her. But she never complaint. I am very proud of my mother.I really adore her. My father only learned about my born by receiving a telegram sent by my late grandfather, which was a month later.

I did not have a proper celebration that day. I went home and bought two slices of cakes for me and my mother. Β Including Amani, we blow the candle together.

Many thanks to my friends and my brother for those gifts. You guys really made my day. 😘

Lovely Hydrangea

Assalamualaikum lovelies!

Finally it’s weekend. It had been a busy weeks for me for the past two weeks. My father was admitted to the hospital again. Syukur, Alhamdulillah he was discharged from GH on Wednesday.

It could be stressfull and exhausted, you know. Running here and there. Hospital to home, home to hospital. However, I need to be strong. I have to find courage to face it. To de-stress, my flowers and plants were my remedies.

Recently, I guessed it’s the season of Hydrangeas blooming. Spotted the young flower buds.

And it will turn out to make a full bloom. It looked like a heart shape, if you look at it closely. Hehe.

This is how it begins to dry. The leaves also turns yellowish, which I guessed it have not pour enough water on the soil.

Hydrangea is one of my favourite flower after Tulip. My mom told me, another local name for this flower is Bunga Kuala Lumpur. It is used to plant along side the Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, before.

Assalamualaikum my friends and readers?

Remember my new cactus, Tenma? I just bought it like two months ago.

After the first bloomed, I transfered Tenma into a new bigger pot. Few weeks after that, I was surprised to see that it started to bloom again. This time I spotted four flower buds on it.

The flower pop out one by one each day. I’ve seen the flower before but still enjoying the beautiful vibrant colour of it.

Cun cun, during the first day of Chinese New Year, all the flowers pop out. They looked like horns. Beautiful horns. There goes my beautiful cheery Tenma.
In case you are wondering, I named the cactus after this cute Tenma Chan from the School Rumble’s anime/manga character. Just like her, right… 😊

Selfood #16 : Zul Place

Assalamualaikum semua…

Everytime I went around to town, I always saw this shop. Zul Place, the name of the place. Looks so hipster from the outside.

Indeed it is very hip to hang out. I went to try with my office colleagues since that day our office had a problem with the electricity.

So I ordered Nasi Ayam Penyet and Barley Juice. The sambal was okay (I could finish it), which means it wasn’t spicy. Haha. However, according to my colleagues they did not fancy the sambal. Well, suits to ‘Lidah Mem’ I guess. Lol.

The place was so cool to take wefies.

And my ‘companion’ did not missed the chance to take a selfie. 😂

Happy Posto (Feb/2016)

Assalamualaikum dunia…

How are you my friends and readers.

This month I received a frog postcard from Netherlands. It was a card of Blijdrop Zoo in Rotterdam. The second card was from Finland. The sender chose a Valentine Card for me since it is February. I found that both cards were very cute. 😍

Love the stamps on the postcards too. 🐸

Do you have any postcards to share? πŸ˜‰
