So this girl have improved her writing skill. Well done, Amani. She loves to copy the signboard whenever she saw it. One day, she showed to me what she had written. ‘KFC’ 😂 Yeah, great. Now can sell ‘pantun’ like this to Abah.

And when she already know how to write, she would write on everything she saw. Proud mama. hehe

Selfood #22 : Just once

Pezzo Pizza… Do you like Pezzo? I think Pezzo was just not my liking. Perhaps I love thin crust pizza and I found that Pezzo pizzas are just the same with other pizzas.

First time eating at Kopi O Corner and I chose Laksa Penang. The noodles were hard to chew and so I guess that’s my first and last eating there.

My brother’s fiancee bought this puff for Amani just because she saw the cartoon looks like Amani. Lol! It taste even funnier than the look. Muhuhu.

Our office lunch last two weeks. We ordered the food from the online shop.  They are serving healthy food as they mentioned it on the instagram. However not all healthy food are tasteless I guess. 🙄 I bet they are new to this field.

I hope people out there don’t simply jump into food business when you think you can cook. Everyone can cook. But to maintain the taste and quality, not all can do that.

A reminder to myself too.

Floral Handbag

I am so in love with floral handbag. Yeah yeah, I know my taste sounds like ‘makcik-makcik’ but I just can’t say no to floral pattern. So I have a dream to have a Cath Kidston handbag. When I saw the price, I knew that I couldn’t afford it. (I am not a person who spend thousands or hundreds just for a handbag.😝) Instead of wasting money buying expensive one, I bought inspired by handbag. This handbag bought from Mr. DIY cost only RM45 😂

My wish came true when I got the Cath Kidston handbag from my cousin. She bought it at Vietnam. Of course this is not original but who cares if your handbag is original or not. If I saw people wearing branded handbag, my mind would automatically thought it was not original and they bought it either from Serikin or Vietnam or online stores. Lol!

Happy Posto (Apr.16)

April 2016 is my happy mail month. I’ve been receiving postcards via my postcrossing project. This card was from Czech Republic. 

  
And the animal stamps. Cute!

  

 Few days after that I received two more postcards from Belarus and Russia.The postcards looks vintage and that was one of the requirement that I mentioned in my account. 

 

Even their stamps were unique. It was my first time to receive any mail from Belarus. 
  
And there goes the day after… I received two more from Finland and Lithuania. My first time too from both countries.

Last week I got this postcard in my mailbox. This beautiful sunset postcard was from Netherlands. 

  
And I love the stamp too. Learned it from my friend that this is Van Gogh. One of famous artist in Netherlands. ☺️

Selfood #21 : MK Classico Cafe

Assalamualaikum…

If you are thinking about having western food in a hipster cafe in Kuching, then this is the best answer. Head over to MK Classico Cafe. Located besides the Borneo Hotel and Ting Ting.

Last Friday we celebrate Emie’s advance birthday here. We ordered based on the views and pictures from their instagram (@mkclassiccocafe). Otherwise, you would feel ‘blur’ when ordering at the counter since the menu didn’t include the picture. So here what we have : Spaghetti Bolognese, MK Classico Burger, Fried Chicken Waffles Sandwiches, Lamb Chop and MK Swedish Meatball. 5 stars for the MK Swedish Meatball and Lamb Chop. 😋

This is what I ordered. Fried Chicken Waffles Sandwiches and Lychee Mojito. Love it! 😘

This place I would say suitable for ‘young cozy’ because of the hipster environment. I would think twice to bring my daughter or ‘soldiers’ here, unless they will behaving themselves (and that will be impossible). There are many antique stuff displayed as decoration and I bet very precious to the owner. I can imagine the children will running here and there, touching the stuff and messing around with it…. 😱 I’d rather pack the food and eat at home. Bahaha. 😂 (Parents anxiousness mode on)

Masks

One of her favourite thing to do at the mall is trying out the masks. And then she would insisted me to take her picture.

This picture reminds me of my best friend (Amani’s aunt) Ayu. She loves wearing animal or monster masks and I would take her picture. And then we both would laughed at the picture.

Something fun to do during our window shopping. Now, I have her ‘protege’ . 😂 How I missed my old days with my best friend.

Selfood #20 : Tony Roma’s

Assalamualaikum..

This is my first time dining in Tony Roma’s. I admit it, I never had an expensive meal all my life. (I mean on our oen treat) And yes, I consider the food in this restaurant is expensive. hehe.

As DearDear told me, once in a while why not pampering our tummy with something special. We had work hard and this is the time we rewarded ourself.

All I could say, the food and service were worth the money. I wouldn’t mind to come again next time. (Perhaps on a very special occasion. 😂)

How are you my friends and readers?

My favourite section in Kaison is the flower section. I just love the flower arrangements. By looking at the seasonal flower displayed on the racks makes me feel peaceful.

Another favourite section is the stationeries. I had bought so many cute stuff from this section. The price are quite cheap too.

This little boss is not excepted to feel the excitement when entering the shop. I bet she also shared the same favourite section with me. 😂
