Kopicut Fried BeeHoon. 😋

Kluang Station Chicken Rice 😋

Dayang Salahah Cuisine’s Mixed Rice. Except for the beansprouts, that was from Amani’s Kolo Mee. 😅

Rojak Ayam @ Rojak Kuchey (the new shop at Jalan Petanak). I still prefer the original Rojak Kuchey from his father.

Nasi Lemak Chicken Wing @ Madam Tangs

Fried Noodles @ Gerai Kak Su. Near Golden Dragon City.

Selfood #39 : Fork and Knife

Assalamualaikum

My ‘pantun’ to dine in here finally was answered by DearDear. Lol! That evening, he just brought us straight to this restaurant. Normally we would argued on where to eat. 😅 So I ordered Grilled Salmon and it tasted really good. I liked the mashed potato too. DearDear ordered for Lamb something which I didn’t bother to take a picture. I had forked on some from his plate and it tasted so good too.

This satisfied face represents her parent’s satisfied tummy. Lol! Indeed, she was bad mood that evening because the fried chicken wings that we ordered happened to be honey chicken wings. She dislike the meal and opted for fries only. Poor my baby.

Ritchey Bear

Assalamualaikum.

Last month I had a small reunion with my chummy, Ritchey Bear. 🐻 Yeay! This is my bestie when I was in high school. We always exchange small notes/letters during those days. Our favourite activity was swapping celebrity posters! 😂 How I missed the good old days.

Ritchey now is an English lecturer at local institution. I know he loved the job so much. On that day, I asked him to write something on my journal. 😚

I had stitched a Bear Hug pattern for him. This pattern took me about 5 hours to finish stitching it.

Nature Beauty : Blooms

Assalamualaikum. 🌸

I bet you are wondering what happen to my green gallery. 🌵 Yeah, I’m still gardening but had slow down. 😂

Peach… Just love this colour.

Look at this, the more the merrier.

One day, spot on those two flower buds. I was so excited to see it blooms.

This roses had grown taller and bigger.

There it goes. Super blooms! 🌹🌹

Selfood #38 : Rumah Hijau Cafe

Assalamualaikum.

How are you lovelies?

I loved this view. Been dreaming of decorating my own house like this someday. 😁 If you are familiar with Rumah Hijau Cafe, you would recognise thid spot. The second section inside the cafe.

As long as I remember from my previous visits, the Nasi Ayam Penyet was only served on the day. That night, after a long time didn’t eat here, I asked them about the ‘daytime’ menu. And they said the Nasi Ayam Penyet also serve in the nightime menu. Yeay! So one penyet for me.

Nasi Arab Mandy, of course this one chosen by DearDear.

I bet you were asking about Amani’s meal. Well, she had a Fried Chicken Chop and Mama was too busy to entertain her own tummy until she forgot to snap picture of Amani’s meal. Bahaha.

Mini Hoop Swap

Assalamualaikum..

Remember I have joined the mini hoop swap, organised by Veryberryhandmade before? Well this is what I received from my partner. She was from Germany, and this cutie frog had hop in all the way from there. Wow!

Look at the fine stitching and details. I just loved it. 😍

Oct.2016 – Reading Wrap Up

Assalamualaikum…

October been my progressive month in reading. Perhaps I was so busy and not really in a good health condition. I would just open my ibook and read. My kind of therapy.

Title : A Monster Calls

Author : Patrick Ness

On the early month, I saw from my hosting group – Buku Junkie that this book is recommended. This book is heart wrenching, sad and at the same time giving hope to us. I gave 5 stars for this book. Soon it will be a film version.

Synopsis (from Goodreads)

The monster showed up after midnight. As they do.

But it isn’t the monster Conor’s been expecting. He’s been expecting the one from his nightmare, the one he’s had nearly every night since his mother started her treatments, the one with the darkness and the wind and the screaming…

This monster is something different, though. Something ancient, something wild. And it wants the most dangerous thing of all from Conor.

It wants the truth.

Title : Black Ice

Author : Becca Fitzpatrick

In the meantime I read this book. Remember my favourite fallen angel series, Hush Hush? This book was from the same author. Yeah, although most of her books were underrated, I found thst I love her writing. And this book, also one of my favourite. Very mysterious!

Synopsis (from Goodreads)

Danger is hard to resist in this sexy thriller from Becca Fitzpatrick, the New York Times bestselling author of the Hush, Hush saga.

Britt Pheiffer has trained to backpack the Teton Range, but she isn’t prepared when her ex-boyfriend, who still haunts her every thought, wants to join her. Before Britt can explore her feelings for Calvin, an unexpected blizzard forces her to seek shelter in a remote cabin, accepting the hospitality of its two very handsome occupants—but these men are fugitives, and they take her hostage.

Britt is forced to guide the men off the mountain, and knows she must stay alive long enough for Calvin to find her. The task is made even more complicated when Britt finds chilling evidence of a series of murders that have taken place there…and in uncovering this, she may become the killer’s next target.

But nothing is as it seems, and everyone is keeping secrets, including Mason, one of her kidnappers. His kindness is confusing Britt. Is he an enemy? Or an ally?

Title : Anna and the French Kiss

Author : Stephanie Perkins

I always love the cover of this book. Always tempted to read it. At first I thought this is a romance genre book. Turns that it is a young adult genre. Just a light reading. Teen story, but I enjoyed reading it.

Synopsis (from Goodreads)

Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris–until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all…including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

Title : Burn for Burn

Author : Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian

Last book that I read for that month was this series. This is the first book of Burn for Burn series. It was from my favourite author, Jenny Han (the one who wrotes To all the boys I loved before) and collaborating with her high school friend Siobhan Vivian (also a write). This book was suprisingly great.

Synopsis (from Goodreads)

Postcard-perfect Jar Island is home to charming tourist shops, pristine beaches, amazing oceanfront homes—and three girls secretly plotting revenge.

KAT is sick and tired of being bullied by her former best friend.

LILLIA has always looked out for her little sister, so when she discovers that one of her guy friends has been secretly hooking up with her, she’s going to put a stop to it.

MARY is perpetually haunted by a traumatic event from years past, and the boy who’s responsible has yet to get what’s coming to him.

None of the girls can act on their revenge fantasies alone without being suspected. But together…anything is possible.

With an alliance in place, there will be no more “I wish I’d said…” or “If I could go back and do things differently…” These girls will show Jar Island that revenge is a dish best enjoyed together.
Now, how progressive right. Lol. I’m near to complete my reading challenge. Wishme luck. Ciao. 😘

Little Hajj Simulation (2016)

Assalamualaikum. How are you my lovely friends and readers?

So Amani school had organised the Hajj Simulation again for this year. It was the second time she participated for this program. This time, they held it at TITAS, Unimas.

She was so excited to join the program. Every day she would remind me the day she would going to perform hajj. As early in the morning, she woke up in a high spirit. I told her not to cry this time, as it happened last year. She cried during the program.

Well  she didn’t cry that day. She was too busy with her friends. But she would searched for my face. hehe. I had to follow her and make sure she saw me. Giving supports for her.

I’m so proud to see the passport was fully completed this year. Well done, Amani!

Alhamdulillah… Here is the picture of Hajjah Amani in front of the Kaabah model.
