Nature Beauty : Way Back Into Love

Assalamualaikum…

It’s been awhile since I’ve updated on my plants. Take a look at my Japanese Roses here. I’m glad I could see this lovely view everyday.

Since they blooming merrily, I plucked some of them and make it as flower bouquet using my old vintage mug.

And  I just love taking photos besides them. 🌸🌸🌸

Bracelets addiction

Assalamualaikum..

I am a bracelet lover. I don’t know how many bracelets do I have. Whenever I saw fancy bracelets, I would buy at least one. Here is the latest I bought from Bespoken Handmade.

It’s a customized name on a pendant bracelet. You can choose your own favourite colour and design. Well, of course I chose mint green beads. I’m so in love with this. Suprisingly, the seller lived just near to my house. She just drop in my bracelet into the mailbox. Hehe. Hopefully I can meet her in person someday.

Spotted on a booth selling bead bracelets in Viva City during fasting month. One bundle cost RM24. So I bought two bundles and gave some to my mom. Hehe.

My favourite from the bundles. Those colour… πŸ’š

That day when I went back from baking shop during fasting month, I spotted on the accesories booth in Plaza Merdeka. Tada, bought three bracelets! One for my mom. She is a bracelet lover too. Here is my favourite side of the bracelet, the rose charm. 🌹

Another bracelet that I bought is this one. Emerald green with crown charms. I just love it.

Since I love wearing bracelets, I also contribute in Cotton On foundation campaign “Let’s wrist band together” The design is so simple yet attractive.

Isn’t it so obvious that my new favourite colour is green. πŸ’š

Lady in Green

Assalamualaikum..

I spent my Hari Raya celebration mostly at home this year.

So this is the lady in green. Bought the diamond dri kits since last year, only had a chance to make it during the long holiday. Amani also helping me to do it. But only the ‘face’ part. πŸ˜‘

Here are the ladies in green. My mother bought the dress for both of them. They liked it very much. They called it an Elsa dress. πŸ˜‰

Dear Dear birthday

Assalamualaikum

It’s October. Months of many birthday boys and girls that surrounds me. haha.

One of the birthday boy is Dear Dear. This birthday boy didn’t like to be wished during his birthday. Doesn’t fancy any celebration either. Okay, I respect him for that. So on his birthday, we just went to have dinner after work. Amani insisted to buy a cake for her Abah. She chose the Ultraman cake. There it goes, we ate dinner and a mini cake.

And then we accompanied him to renew his driving license. That’s Malaysian trademark oh birthday. Birthday means driving license renewal day. Bahaha! After that he said he wanna have massage on the massage chair. And someone also love to have massage on her Abah’s tummy. ahaha. She would always do that. 😅

Birthday present? Only this. Mini Tower of Pisa. He assembled it himself. I have no talent in this. ahakz.

Hopefully, I will have chance to visit Italy someday. Eh? Consider that my wish is his wish too lah. Lol!

Jojo The Cat

Assalamualaikum. Hello lovelies!

I have posted this picture before and mentioned that the cat’s name was Katniss. That is because this cat was so fierce, couldn’t be touch and helpless. It was so frustrating in the beginning because I couldn’t help to clean the cat. It kept on hissing on us and attempted to bite any hand that go inside the cage.

My sister in law found the cat the roadside. So dirty, smelly and lost. She took it and asked me whether I am willing to adopt it. I said Yes, of course. 😁 That’s how it end up to be my foster cat. hehe.

On the Eid day, my brother tried to tame it. Looks like he succeed and we discovered that the cat was a male. 😅 Which means, I had to forget on the name Katniss. My mother gave him the name Jojo.

Jojo is okay for him. Joni Depp? Lol! 😂 The next day after eid, I found him escaped from the cage. He hid behind the boxes and I tried to grab him. To my surprised he didn’t fought back. So I bathed him, ‘buang kutu’ and let him played inside the house.

To this day, Jojo is free from ‘kutu’ and smells nice. He loves to play and very active. Very ‘manja’ too. Poor Jojo, he must be missing his mother. He still didn’t know how to drink milk from the bowl. I had to feed him with a pet milk bottle. I bet Jojo is still about two months old.

So that is the story of Jojo the Cat. A siamese and once a stray cat. He is my cat crush. 😘

Selfood #35 : Coffee Garden

Assalamualaikum..

Rise and shine lovelies!

Everytime I went to Tun Jugah mall, I always mesmerised with this shop – Coffee Garden. Located at the ground floor, very easy to spot on. So one day we decided to try having lunch at this place.

I love the decoration, suits to the name itself. I bet this owner is the same owner of Coffee Clinic & Coffee Factory. Same concept, different outlets. Pretty cool.

Since I’m not a coffee lover, I didn’t order any coffee that day. I chose on promotion menu that day Cajun Chicken Aglio Olio with free Iced Lemon Tea at only RM11. My colleagues tried on Nasi Ayam Penyet with free Iced Lemon Tea at only RM10.

As you can see, it’s a big portion for me. However, I am quite satisfied with the taste and nice presentation. The only problem is the slow service, which I can accepted that day because they were only two staffs on duty that day.

I am definitely will come again to this place. They were outside section too where the real japanese roses were planted. Yup, next time. πŸ˜‰

On Merdeka Day

Assalamualaikum

On Merdeka day, I followed my parent in law to visit Dear Dear grandmother in Sematan. So off to Lundu we go. Managed to capture the Pandan Mount from the bridge view.

After coming from Sematan, we stopped at Pandan Beach for a while. Such a beautiful view and a very nicr weather that day.

This angle is continued from the previous picture.

The big rocks are still there. I called it mini rock mountain.

Close up a little bit.

After Maghrib prayer, we went back to Kuching.

p/s: Lucky to buy Ikan Kembung at RM10 per kilo that day.

Sarawak Museum

Assalamualaikum…

I’m having Mee Brunei again yesterday. This time I chose yellow noodles instead of bihun. I think I prefer bihun.

Okay, this is a late post. After our first visit to eat Mee Brunei, me and my colleagues decided to visit the museum. Since one of use here never entered the museum, so we took her and look around like a tourist. hehe.

See, any chance people mistaken me like a tourist? hehe. This is the museum shop, my favourite. Lol!

This door is so big and very heavy, I bet. We were told that this door was carved by great grandfather of Orang Ulu, and his great grandchildren sold it to the museum.

After that we went inside. This is the gallery for wooden carved dolls, from various ethnic in Sarawak.

This doll called Dayung. I knew Dayung means a Girl or a Lady in Bidayuh dialect. Probably the doll was a girl.

There was also a Rumah Panjang (Long House) in this museum. I would prefer the Long House at Sarawak Cultural Village. More realistic.

A replica of a bus, first public transportation in Kuching.

An antique trishaw.

My family!!! 🐸🐸🐸
