2013 Reading Challenge – Failed!

It is sadly announced that I have failed the 2013 Reading Challenge from the Goodreads

2013 book challenge

I’ve set goal to read 50 books in 2013, however I managed to read 37 books only. Sigh~

I know that mostly my times in 2013 were packed with my craft projects and also my father’s condition wasn’t really good.

37, well… quite a progress from the previous challenge.

Now, let’s recap what I’ve been reading on last year.

I’ve completed The Watersong Series and The Hunger Games Trilogy. The Hunger Games Trilogy was the best series so far. I’m still living in that story. (Only book addict understands this phrase. ahahaha)

Well, bravo to me as well for reading 6 Malay novels. Apart from Ramlee Awang Murshid, I read the other novels only because the books were filming into movie. Haha… I admit the truth!

From all the books, my top favourite book is from Khaled Hosseini – And the Mountains Echoed. I wasn’t surprised when the book was awarded as The Best Book of 2013 (Fiction). It is highly recommended. Trust me, you’ll like it. Here’s my review.

Okay then, now back to 2014. I’m setting a goal to read 40 books. I hope I won’t fail this year. I will keep you updated with my reading progress as usual..

Till then, ciao!

December Drug 2012 & The Reading Challenge

My last drug for the end of the year 2012.

The Girl who Kicked the Hornets' Nest

December 2012 Drug : The Girl who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest by Stieg Larsson

This is the third book from the Millennium Series. It took awhile for me to diges and finished the second part of this series. Nak muntah! Since the ending was ‘hanging’ so I decided to move on to the last part of this series and after that I’m free from Lisbeth Salander’s world. Frown face mode ON!

2012 Reading Challenge

I signed up the Goodreads a little bit late this year. And then I took part of the Goodreads Reading Challenge in the middle of the year, so I challenged myself to read about 25 books for this year. I made it! The 25th books I read is The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson.

Therefore, I’m going to upgrade my reading challenge for the year of 2013. Perhaps 50 books… or 100 books? (Greedy huh… :-p)
