I hope you are enjoying the weekend.
Well, this is a story of the last Friday. I’m sorry I’m not commited to update my blog everyday. It is because I was very tired and this morning I had dizziness. I guessed I don’t have enough rest recently.
Okay then, back to the main topic. Last friday my company had an office lunch at Sarawak Club, Kuching. Once I heard where the venue was, I feel extremely excited. Haha. Why? Because I really loved the food.
This is the first course. Loves the roti jala… yumm yumm.
Moving on to the second course. The roasted chicken. Love the deco.
Now this is my most faaaayvorite in Sarawak Club. The butter prawns. Trust me, Sarawak Club has the best butter prawn in town. wiwiwi.
History time! Did you know that Sarawak Club was once in razed around July 2006? I remember I was stilll studying in Unimas during that time. Now, it is fully renovated and they have one section in the building that displayed some left artefacts from the fire. I managed to take some interesting photos. Clockwise (L-R):
1. Remains of the Rajah Room’s crockeries during the pre dawn.
2. The charred glasses, utensils…. how sad to look at it.
3. The clock which hung on the wall of the library somewhat eerily showing the time the intense heat of the fire reached the library.
4. The cock head, the only artefact saved and left by us during the massive lunch. Lol!!!!
Here’s me and my girls… Intended to pose with “crossed leg” but our photographer captured the candid moment. hehe.
Added one of the photo into my #100happydays challenge. 😀
That’s it for today. Till then, ciao…
Hello friends and readers….
Sorry again for not updating my blog.
I fell sick and don’t have strength to write blog.
I am now had problem to swallow and chewing food. My mouth are full with ulcers, my gums is swelling and bleeding. My neck is aching. I think I am infected by Amani, one of the hfmd symptom.
I can only tolerate with soft food – porridge and soup. It’s been a week, I had eaten porridge…. night and day. It’s porridge day every day. lol!
Oh… look at those food. I can only look at it. This is really a hunger test for me. My tummy is rumbling… T.T
The ‘food note’ :
1. Nasi Ayam Penyet Pak Somet
2. Sarawak Laksa
3. Butter Chicken Rice
4. Morocon Butter Chicken Rice
Hopefully I will get better soon and redeem all the yummy food!
Till then, bye~
If you are given four choices of something that is sweet and refreshing, what would it be?
I am now craving for these kind of things.
And I would choose these:
1. Cucumber juice (my all times favourite since young. Used to make it my own juice…)
2. Coconut juice (this is a healer… provided with no added sugar)
3. Ice-cream (ah… so indulging)
4. Slice of strawberry chocolate cake (melting…. hihi)
That’s it. My once in a blue moon cravings. What about you guys? Mind sharing with me your cravings? 🙂
I have been craving Penang Laksa since last week.
Went to the popular stall which was people recommended for the best Penang Laksa in Kuching, unfortunately the stall was closed.
At last, I decided to cook on my own. So ‘semangat’, me and mom went to the wet market this early morning to buy the ingredients. We couldn’t find Daun Kesom, so we just proceed with other ingredients.
It was her first time too, to cook Penang Laksa. Just follow the instruction from the recipe…. and….
Ta-da! Not bad lah for the first trial. Hehehe…
